June 24: Personal Writing For The Common App And UC App 

Students will hear from admissions staff at the University of California and a private university that uses the Common Application. Learn how the UC and Common App writing sections differ, observe best practices, gain tips for effectively communicating, and find out the no-no’s to avoid!

September 23: Financial Aid

Students will get an overview of various funding sources to pay for college. Students will be encouraged to complete a FAFSA or CADAA application and learn more about the CSS profile if they are applying to schools using that tool. Financial aid can seem intimidating, but this session will provide you with helpful tools and action items.

September 30: Ask The Experts Q&A Session

This is your chance to ask questions with the admissions directors from a private university and a UC campus! These are the people who lead admissions offices at their respective schools. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to hear directly from the experts!
